Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening Guide

The treatment method called Plasma Fibroblasting is highly effective at rejuvenating the eyes and other problem areas. The procedure is referred to as Blepharoplasty or non-surgical eye-lift. One session will reduce crow’s feet and tighten saggy eyelids instantly, to take years off of your entire face.

What is a Plasma skin tightening procedure?

Plasma fibroblasting is a new treatment that has been designed to specifically and significantly enhance your appearance without removing, burning or cutting excess fat or skin. It is an excellent alternative to traditional injectable and surgical treatment methods.

What are Fibroblasts?

Dermal fibroblasts are cells inside of the skin’s dermis layer. They are responsible for producing connective tissue and giving the skin the chance to recover from injuries.

Plasma causes micro-trauma which stimulates elastin, collagen, and Fibroblasts in the skin and works to promote new skin cell production which helps to tighten, plump, and strengthen the skin.

After a session, new cells continue to be produced for several weeks. That helps with refining wrinkles and fine lines, and to improve the skin’s overall complexion.

Fibroblasts are essential in supporting the skin’s healing functions and is involved in some key processes, including producing collagen and extra cellular matrix (ECM).

How does the Plasma skin tightening process work?

Ionized gas within the air is the principle that plasma fibroblasting treatments work under. At the proper distance away from the skin, nitrogen and oxygen are mixed. Arc or plasmatic effusion is produced b the electrostatic energy, which discharged into the skin.

Without touching the skin, the plasma arc vaporizes the skin which forces it to contract which stimulates fibroblasts. These are the cells that are responsible for producing collagen.

There are small carbon crusts resembling dots that form on the skin. Over the coming days, they slough away and regenerated skin is revealed.

The key to this treatment’s result is stimulation and micro-trauma.

What Can Be Expected From Plasma Treatment?

In order to ensure that the patient is comfortable, a local anesthetic cream might be applied before the procedure is started. Your patient can expect a small amount of swelling when the eye area is being treated. Usually, it will quickly resolve itself within 3 to 4 days.

Circular small carbon crusts will form on each of the treatment points. after a couple of days, they will slough away but might take as long as a week to clear completely. Infection risk is minimized and the healing process is expedited by aftercare balms. After the skin heals your patient will have more radiant, youthful skin.

This treatment produces long-lasting and dramatic results, so normally one treatment is sufficient for achieving your client’s desired results.

However, you can repeat the procedure after 3 months if your client would like a stronger result. Due to its permanency, further treatments are required only after your client has genetically aged.

How long will Plasma Skin tightening last?

Plasma skin tightening’s effects should last just as long as the results of invasive surgery. Results can last for many years depending on which area is treated. The treatment’s positive effects will be immediately noticeable after the initial treatment. However, the best results can be seen in 4 weeks.

Like all surgical procedures, these are not entirely permanent effects and the aging process is not stopped. However, you should be able to enjoy the results for many years. The Plasma Fibroblast treatment’s positive effects will be noticeable right away after the initial treatment and will continue over a 4 week period.

Is the Plasma Skin Tightening procedure painful?

Plasma skin tightening can be mild to moderately uncomfortable.  Everyone has a different pain level and some parts of the body may be more sensitive than others. To reduce discomfort during the treatment process, numbing cream can be quite helpful.

Plasma skin tightening treatment aftercare

After their sessions, clients can immediately resume normal activities.

A sensation similar to sunburn is often experienced. If clients feel especially aware of their treatment, they can take an OTC anti-inflammatory medication like Ibuprofen.

Do not pull, peel, or pick at carbon crust. Instead, wait for them to naturally run its course. The time period where it doesn’t look visually 100% great is definitely worth waiting for. The treated area needs to be kept free of all lotions, creams, mascaras, and makeup other than aftercare products that are recommended.

The area should be cleansed twice a day using lukewarm boiled water and mild soap to avoid bacteria from building up. Do not apply plasters or use any alcohol-based cleaners since that can slow down the healing process.

Following treatment, you can expect some swelling for 1-5 days. Usually, recovery times are shorter than that. It is a normal reaction and is involved in the initial skin rebuilding and healing stages. Swelling tends to be at its worst on the third day and will have subsided by the fifth day.

In order to prevent scabs from occurring, aftercare products should be used to keep the treated area moist, and additional vitamin C should be taken to supplement the patient’s diet.

Any time the area shows any signs of infection, or becomes red or hot, the client should contact the clinic.

There could be weeping occasionally; it is a normal part of the overall healing process.

As the treated area starts to heal and dry, a light crust may form on the skin. Keep it dry and clean and don’t pick at it.

Clients need to return in 6 weeks for a pos-session review.

To avoid hyperpigmentation clients need to keep out of the sun for 6 weeks or longer and wear SPF50.
