4 Unhealthy Habits That You Should Stop Doing

When you’re busy with work, you barely have enough time to do other things. Since you’re mostly at home now, your daily schedule might have started to change. You might notice that some of these actions are already affecting your health. It might be time for you to break the habit and have a healthier lifestyle.

1. Spending too much time on your phone

Yes, you feel bored since you work from home most of the time. You can’t even go out if you’re in areas with strict stay-at-home orders. Your phone is the only source of entertainment. Although it’s a good thing that you find a way to enjoy yourself while at home, using your phone for a long time isn’t healthy. You run the risk of overexposure to radiation. Make sure that you limit the number of hours you spend on your phone each day. You might consider using EMF protection, which can help protect you against radiation.

2. Not exercising

You were active when your gym membership was still active. Since most fitness gyms aren’t in full operation these days, you end up not exercising at all. Just because you’re at home doesn’t mean you can’t exercise. You can still do physical activities. Try opening dance videos on YouTube that you can follow. You can also take out your yoga mat and do a few poses. Going out for a run might also be an excellent idea. There are several ways to stay physically active, and being at home isn’t an excuse.

3. Sleeping late

When you have to go to work, you sleep early. You don’t want to be late for work or get stuck in the middle of traffic. Since you’re only working from home now, it doesn’t matter what time you get up. Your boss even gave you the flexibility to work as long as you can get things done. Despite that, you shouldn’t stay up late. Follow your regular sleep pattern to stay healthy. Besides, you know that this lockdown period won’t last forever. At some point, you need to get back to your previous schedule. You will have a hard time when you already allowed yourself to sleep late for several months.

4. Munching on late night snacks

Since you sleep late, you also feel tempted to eat in the middle of the night. It might even have become more frequent recently since you keep on binge-watching your favorite shows. Make sure that you set a limit on the number of episodes to watch each night. If you plan to stay up late to watch a series finale, you have to stay away from food

You might be less conscious of your physical appearance now since you’re no longer going outside so often. However, it doesn’t mean that you also have to abandon healthy practices. You have even more reasons to stay healthy as the world is fighting a pandemic. You should boost your immune system to survive in the event of a viral infection.
